The Sinful Nature vs The New Man

The Sinful Nature Vs the New Man         This is an essay concerning the Sinful Nature vs the New Man.   Who do you think will win?   The sinful nature consists of the Old Man Nature.           The reason why I brought this up as a topic is simply because there are some things that I am struggling with as a Christian.   For Instance, I do not use any vulgarity, but I have a problem dealing with porn.   I will admit that I am a lonely man right now.   I am not involved in a relationship right now because I was doing things that did not make sense.   By looking at porn, it had given me some sort of comfort.   I know that I am not supposed to look at porn because it taints the Holy Spirit.         Next, I want to say that it is not easy for me to deal with this problem.   I really need everyone to please keep me in your prayers.   The New man is a man that is holy.   The new man is very honest, truthful, considerate, respectful, and Christ-like.   When it comes to the

Psalms 5:1-3 and what does it mean to all people?

Psalms 5:1-3 and what does it mean to all people?         Good Day Everyone!! I want to start things off by asking everyone a very serious question.   What does Psalms 5:1-3 mean to all of you?   The answer is God wants us to have daily devotions and meditate on His word.   In verse 1, it says: Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my mediation.   This is David, the King pleading with the Lord to hear his mediation.   We are supposed to make our request known to God.   This is the reason why daily devotions are important to me.   I read a verse inside of the Book of Proverbs each day of the week.   I also read the Gospels such as Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.   I read and listen to worship music all of the time.         Next, I want to say that verse #2 states that God has heard my cry and pleas to Him.   This means that I confess all of my sins to God, and I also complete the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous every single day.   I complete the last 3 Steps; which are as f

1st Timothy 5:24 and What Does it means to all people?

1 st Timothy 5:24 and what does it means to all people?           This is an essay that has a whole lot to do with 1 st Timothy 5:24: and what does it means to all people? 1 st Timothy 5:24 says: Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow later.   This means that for some men, their sins are clearly apparent, and in another case, there are men who sins will be revealed to them later.   To be honest, God watches all things from heaven.   I will admit that I still have a very long way to go in my Christian walk.             Next, I will also admit that I have been clean and sober for a total of 29 years right now.   It is God that is doing for me more than I am doing for myself.   I have not been in trouble in a total of 7 years now.   I remember being probated for a crime that I did not commit.   I was remanded to the Dayton, Ohio Montgomery County Common Pleas Court for committing two counts of communications of threats.   I

We Shall Love The Lord our God!!

We Shall Love The Lord Our God!           This is an essay that consists of Bible verses from the Book of Deuteronomy.   The first Bible verse that I would like to talk about is in Deuteronomy 6:5: It says you shall love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, and with all of your strength.   I love the Lord God so much that I have dedicated my life to Him; by not listening to rap music.   I have dedicated my life to Him by sharing with others about what the Lord has done for me.           Next, when you love the Lord your God; you are putting to an end the physical, mental, and social self by submitting to His will.   Deuteronomy 8:6 says: Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and fear Him.   Second, we do this by obeying His word, and placing our hearts, mind, and soul to Him.   We have to submit to God by hearing His voice through prayer and reading His word.   We also have to submit to His will i

Matthew 5:23-24, and What does this means to all people?

Matthew 5:23-24!! What does this means to all people?         Good Day Everyone!! This is an essay that pertains to the Beatitudes inside of Matthew 5 th -7 th Chapters.   I have selected two of the Bible verses just to place emphasis.   First, I want to say that this is not very easy for some people to apologize to another person, especially after you have done something wrong to that person.   For me personally, I want to inform all of you that my baby brother called me a homosexual because I am responsible for paying my other brother and a friend’s phone bill each month.   I understand that my brother called me out of my name without just cause.         Next, I want to inform everyone that my brother was out of line for calling me out of my name.   I have confronted him about the problem, but he refuses to reconcile.   Therefore, I am praying for him each and every single day of the week.   I have family problems that only Jesus Christ and prayer can resolve.   I am th

Grace and Mercy: What Does It Means to All People?

Grace and Mercy: What does it means to all people?    This is an essay that ask one very important question.  What does grace and mercy means to all people?  To start things off, I would like to give a definitions of the words grace and mercy.  What is the definition of the word grace?  Grace is Grace is a gift from Heavenly Father given through His Son, Jesus Christ. The word grace, as used in the scriptures, refers primarily to enabling power and spiritual healing offered through the mercy and love of Jesus Christ. … The grace of God helps us every day.  Whereas the definition of the word mercy is compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm. Next, the Lord has compassion of forgiveness towards us.  Even though we dwell in our sinful nature.  Jesus Christ died for the sins of all people.  He died for me in advance.  I was not even born and He died for me.  It really means something to me because He knew me when I was insid

The Potter's Hand!!

The Potter’s Hand Isaiah 29:16  Chapter  Parallel  Compare 16  You have everything backward! Should the potter be thought of as clay? Should what is made say of its maker, "He didn't make me"? Should what is shaped say of the one who shaped it, "He doesn't understand"? Isaiah 64:8  Chapter  Parallel  Compare 8  But now, LORD, you are our father. We are the clay, and you are our potter. All of us are the work of your hand. Jeremiah 18:1-9  Chapter  Parallel  Compare 1  Jeremiah received the LORD's word:  2  Go down to the potter's house, and I'll give you instructions about what to do there.  3  So I went down to the potter's house; he was working on the potter's wheel.  4  But the piece he was making was flawed while still in his hands, so the potter started on another, as seemed best to him.  5  Then the LORD's word came to me:  6  House of Israel, can't I deal with you like this potter, declares the LORD?
