How Do We Teach Our Children How To Obey God?

How Do We Teach Our Children How to Obey God?         This is an essay that ask a very important question.  How do we teach our children how to obey God?  According to Deuteronomy 6:7 says: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.  This means our primary emphasis is to teach our children how to love the Lord God.         This also means that we are supposed to love the Lord with all of thy heart, soul, mind, and strength.  When it comes to teaching our children about the Bible, they learn by watching their parents.  If the parents are reading the Bible to their children, teaching their children how to pray, and taking them to church all of the time, and conducting themselves like a true Christian, then a child will never forget about the Lord.  According to proverbs 22:6 says: Train up a child in the way he should go, and w

What Does It Mean to Feel Out of Place?

What does it mean to feel out of place?             I have a very important to ask everyone.  Have any of you ever felt out of place during your life?  I have because I went to an AA Meeting a couple of weeks ago, and everyone felt appreciative and understanding.  I was very happy during the AA Big Book Study.  Whereas, two hours later, I went to an NA Meeting and no one did not speak to me and show me love whatsoever.  I really felt out of place because not too many people from AA, which is Alcoholics Anonymous attend NA Meetings.  Narcotics Anonymous is a very great Fellowship.  It is that, my AA Sponsor does not want me attending those type of meetings.  I do not understand why he would tell me not to attend NA Meetings in the first place.  I can identify with both support groups.  I will have to get another Sponsor because I really think he gave me some bad advice.  I understand that I have an addiction.  I am a grateful recovering alcoholic and addict.  I have been clean and sob

Leviticus 19th Chapter and The Meaning of Things.

Leviticus 19 th Chapter by Anthony Joseph Hopkins April 12, 2022 Leviticus 19 King James Version 19 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,   2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.   3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.   4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.       5 And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord, ye shall offer it at your own will.   6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.   7 And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.   8 Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the Lord: and that soul shall be cut off from amo

Luke 6:27-28: And What It Means To All People!!!

Luke 6:27-28; And What it means to all People? By Anthony Joseph  Hopkins April 11, 2022.        Luke 6:27-28 Is very hard to do for some people.   Society itself has changed during the past 40 years.   I remember when I was a little boy, my grandparents did not want me fighting anyone.   My grandparents wanted me to heed the words that are inside of the Bible.   My mother did not like it when I used to let other boys beat me up all of the time.   Jesus is teaching in Luke 6:27-28 says: But to you who are listening I say Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, and bless those who mistreat you.   In Luke’s account of the Scriptures is different than in Matthew, Mark, and John.   I want to be honest that this is going to take practice because people are not heeding God’s Word.   These particular Bible Verses reminds me of the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7.   Matthews account is much easier to grasp than in Luke.   I want to say that things have changed dramatical

Is it true that People know us in the same way that God know us?

Is It True That God Knows More about us than we know about Him?        Is It True that God knows more about us than we know about Him?   The reason why I am asking this question is because I got into an argument with a close friend because she stated that she knew me more than God and my own mother.   I really do not understand why she stated it in the first place.   I know that according to Isaiah 55:10; it says that our ways are not His ways and our thoughts are not His thoughts.          Next, I did not mean to make my friend mad at me, but she does not know me in the same way that God knows me.   I had to apologize to her because I explained to her that God’s ways and thoughts are not our thoughts.   I only want to ask this question because it is impossible for a human being to know us like God.   I am only saying that God sees the heart.   I want to say that human behavior is learned.   I know that all behaviors are learned and imitated.   I am a person who understands

Are we being judged according to our works by God?

Are we being judged by our works?        What is the definition of the word works?   Works are activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result.   Works also are a task or tasks to be undertaken; something a person or thing has to do.   For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.        What Does the Bible say about works? Therefore, when we work, we resemble Him. In addition,  work is not God's way of punishing us . In fact, He blesses us with the ability to work so that we can honor Him. Colossians 3:22 says, “You who are servants who are owned by someone, obey your owners. Are we being judged by our works by God?        Next, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that fr
